In this episode, I share with you 3 business lessons my daughter and I learned from a recent trip to Ikea. If you haven't been to Ikea, it's a large furniture store and definitely an experience you won't forget.  With that, you can always learn from other businesses & apply those tips to your business - which is exactly what I share with you today!

So, my 13 year old daughter, Ava, is soon going to be taking over her brother's bedroom & decorating it with fresh paint, furniture & more. (Her brother is off at college, but little does he know that next fall Ava will be swapping rooms with him. I'll let him know soon :) LOL)

With that, Ava and I decided to take a trip into Houston so she could start getting ideas for how she wants to setup & decorate her room. She had never been to Ikea, so I thought it was time.

We had so much fun shopping but also learned some great business lessons.

The 3 things we appreciated about Ikea:
1 - the intentional flow they put you on in the store as you walk through the store

2 - the cafe in the middle of the store to serve you when you are are the most hungry lol

3 - the great way they show the furniture in mock rooms so you can easily visualize it all in your own home
